Disability Assessment is Required
You must order and complete a Psychological and Emotional Disability Assessment to receive this letter. Many of our clients need a letter of prescription from a licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional specifying the need to obtain or use a pet as an emotional support animal. For airline travel and qualification for "No-Pet" housing, a letter from a from a licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional, dated within the previous 12 months, is required by the Fair Housing Act and Air Carrier Access Act. To qualify for a Letter of Prescription, a Psychological and Emotional Disability Assessment must have been performed within the last two (2) years. This letter option can be requested at the time of the Psychological and Emotional Disability Assessment or anytime within two (2) years after the assessment.
